We started this firm believing that access to legal advice should be affordable, transparent, and friendly. After years of working in the legal field, we felt that the traditional law firm model was failing the average consumer and wanted to provide a different, better experience. We believe that legal planning should be accessible and affordable so that families and businesses avoid the high costs of failing to plan.
We know you are busy and because we are committed to making it as easy as possible for you to work with us, we utilize technology and virtual office space so that we can connect with you wherever in the world you may be.
Legal Field Guide’s mission is to provide the education, counsel, and support necessary to minimize risk and maximize opportunity so that families and businesses motivated to improve their communities may be successful.
We will meet you where you are and educate and empower you so you may avoid pitfalls and seize opportunities.
We know you have goals, we'll help you reach them.
Life rarely presents simple problems with straightforward solutions. When legal challenges arise—whether in business, family, or unexpected crises—you need an attorney who can see beyond the immediate complications to identify workable paths forward. That's where I excel: transforming complex situations into manageable solutions, resolving conflicts before they escalate, and spotting opportunities others might miss.
As the founder of Legal Field Guide, I bring a unique perspective to legal practice. I'm a heart-driven attorney who genuinely loves what I do and takes deep satisfaction in improving my clients' lives. My approach centers on seeing the forest through the trees—understanding how individual legal issues fit into the broader landscape of your life and goals.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I traded rain for San Diego sunshine years ago, though I still return frequently to reconnect with family and the towering trees that remind me of life's bigger picture. As a lifelong entrepreneur, wife, mother, and community advocate, I understand the challenge of balancing multiple priorities while working toward a better future for the next generation.
After fifteen years in traditional legal practice, I grew frustrated with outdated firm models that often failed to serve clients effectively. I founded Legal Field Guide as a virtual law firm serving all of California, designed to provide modern, accessible legal services that actually work for today's busy lives.
I believe in living fully while working purposefully. You'll find me at the beach, in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, camping under the stars, hiking local trails, or walking my dog through the neighborhood. I prioritize time with friends and family, and I laugh as much as possible—because joy and professional excellence aren't mutually exclusive.
This balanced approach to life informs how I practice law. I understand that legal issues don't exist in a vacuum; they intersect with your relationships, dreams, and daily realities. My role is to help you navigate these intersections with confidence.
