· One-on-One Legal Counseling including a Pre-Planning Session and Follow-Up

This program is for people who are eager to finalize their estate planning and do not require advanced estate planning services, such as business succession planning, advanced tax matters, or complex family structures. To determine if you qualify, please fill out our registration form available here. 

1. First, arrange a brief Zoom consultation with Attorney Lisa Field to discuss the process. If you're ready to proceed, our office will send you the client onboarding documents. You'll be required to pay a deposit, which amounts to 50% of the total fee, and complete a questionnaire. Please ensure you submit these materials to our office by November 15th. The remaining 50% of the fee is due on the day of the program.
2. The program day will begin with a one-on-one 1-hour meeting with Attorney Lisa Field. Following the meeting, you'll walk (or drive) next door to enjoy a hosted lunch at Tom Ham’s, with stunning views of downtown San Diego while we work on your documents.
3. After lunch, you'll return to our office for another meeting with the attorney to confirm your decisions, review your drafted documents, and discuss the funding of the trust. Following this, you'll meet with our notary to sign and notarize the necessary documents. Our office will then scan your originals, and you'll leave with an organized binder containing your originals as well as a USB drive with electronic copies.
4. Later, you'll schedule a follow-up Zoom meeting with Attorney Lisa Field to address any remaining concerns regarding the funding of your trust.
